Danny Kaye by TheSilverBells Danny Kaye by TheSilverBells
Hawkins- I find it hard to believe that the captain could ever be fond of a man who isn't a fighter
Maid Jean- Sometimes, tenderness and kindess can also make a man... A very rare man.
~The Court Jester

To a wonderful actor, one that I loved as a kid, Danny Kaye. (:
I always loved the movie "The Court Jester". He is mainly a comedian, but I found that scene in the barn very sweet. I think I've always been drawn to gentle loyal men, more than the 'bad boy' sort anyways . ♥ [link]

I love Danny Kaye! I could watch The Court Jester 100000000 times, and never get tired of it. Wonderman is also a favourite of mine.

Same here. YES. I laugh and giggle at him every time, like in the sword fight, and when he keeps snapping in and out of that love spell ETC... xD <3

Very cool stamp. I like pretty much all of Danny Kaye's movies but I think Hans Christan Anderson was one of my favorites. I do like his singing. I do on occasion have his version of Thumbelina going through my head. Court Jester was good too.

Aww thanks~ (: I like all of them to. I tend to like most older movies in general, especially musicals. ♥

lol When I was little I'd run around jumping out of trees singing that "Black Fox" song from the Court Jester. xD

lol that's cool. Two of my most favorite movies are "Arsenic and old Lace" and "An Affair to Remember." Love all of Bing Crosby's movies and can't forget Bob Hope either. I have a ton of other favorite old movies I like and I could go on and on but I won't bog down your comments. Let's not even get started about my taste in music.

Bing Crosby's Irish Lullaby song could easily put me to sleep, in a good, warm fuzzy sort of way. So soft and soothing. x3 Ohhhh yes a few of my favorite movies are "GiGi" "It's a Wonderful Life" "The King and I" and "It's always fair weather". Gotta love Gene Kelly, Jimmy Stewart, Gregory Peck, and John Wayne (I like him best with his moustache). I'm a big western fan to, and silent films with Buster Keaton ... lol Bog down my comments? Pssssh. Don't get ME started! xD I have a feeling I'm doing that myself. TCM channel? Yessssssss~ ♥ You know you're a fan if you get disappointed when Robert Osborne isn't doing the commentary one night. xD

And... I seriously don't think I can pick a favorite classic movie. ;u;

My favorite western of all time is "Once Upon a Time in The West." One of my favorite musicals is "Oklahoma" I liked Rio Bravo with John Wayne. I do also like Laurel and Hardy movies too. I like Buster Keaton a little more than Charlie Chaplin. I don't think I can hear Robert Osborne with out thinking of some classical movie.

Yep. I like all of those to. hahaha And that movie with Buster Keaton where he does all the stuff with the train is CRAZY. They set bridges on fire and blow up stuff and wreck trains... Very dangerous. lol @___@ As I said... Picking a favorite is nearly impossible for me. xD

That's understandable. There are way too many to choose from. Thankfully we don't have to choose. Heck, we didn't even mention Shirley Temple.
